Do I need to bring ID?
Please bring valid ID to your appointment. We cannot carry out any tattoo or piercing service without it.
Contact your chosen studio before visiting if you need to check which ID is accepted or ask about age and parent/guardian requirements. Please do not send a photo of your ID through the website enquiry form.
How can I pay in the studio?
Payments in our studios are cash only. Please bring cash for your appointment and any in-studio purchases.
The cash-only policy applies to in-studio payments. Any online checkout or remote deposit payment has its own payment instructions; use only the method confirmed by the studio.
Can I walk in for a piercing?
You can walk in for a piercing, subject to availability. We recommend booking an appointment to secure your slot, as we cannot always accommodate walk-ins.
How do I book a tattoo?
Tattoo appointments can be arranged by messaging your chosen studio on Facebook or by visiting us in person. Tell us your idea, preferred style, placement and approximate size so we can discuss your options.

Do I need to pay a tattoo deposit?
A deposit of at least €50 is normally required and is credited towards the agreed tattoo price. Read our Tattoo Booking & Deposit Policy before paying.
Can I move or cancel my tattoo appointment?
Give at least 48 hours’ notice to transfer your deposit in full to a mutually agreed replacement appointment, subject to availability. Cancellation, refund and distance-booking rights are explained in the full deposit policy.

Arrive prepared
Our studio preparation guidance is to avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your tattoo appointment. Come well rested, eat a proper meal beforehand and bring drinking water. For a longer session, you may also bring a small snack.
Dress for your tattoo
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. Choose clothes you do not mind getting ink on.
Visitors and support
Please come alone where possible. If you need a parent, guardian, interpreter or support person, speak with your studio before your visit so we can make arrangements.
Make yourself comfortable
Bring headphones, a book or a tablet to keep you occupied. Your artist may need to focus while working, but please speak up if you feel uncomfortable or need a break.
Plan your aftercare
SkinProject tattoo aftercare is available in our studios, including Soft Butter 15 ml at €5 per tin. Follow your artist’s aftercare instructions and the directions on the product. The current product selection, ingredients and prices are shown in our aftercare shop.
